Success Stories

We first met Poopie-Doo last winter. He was living mostly outside. We talked to the family and offered our assistance with an inside training crate to help them bring Poopie-Doo inside the house more. Glenda made the decision to bring Poopie-Doo inside her house full-time. Glenda is living with a debilitating medical condition and has round-the-clock caregivers. Poopie-Doo is living the good life now inside the house, free-range, all the time with Glenda and her caregivers.

The fact that Poopie-Doo is a very good boy and loved by all made his transition easy. He has a fenced-in front yard for doing his business and a little exercise throughout the day. Glenda recently called us to see if we could help with grooming for Poopie-Doo. We contacted our friend Chelsea at the Fluffy Puppy in Irvington. Chelsea told us to bring Poopie-Doo on down. So yesterday was the pupper’s spa day. Check out the series of photos documenting Poopie-Doo’s big day:1) Sitting on his bed all ready to go in the morning. 2) Walking into the Fluffy Puppy 3) Inside the salon, surrounded by oodles of poodles and yorkies. Needless to say, he was the only 80 pound hound dog in the joint that day. ? 4) Being a good boy on the grooming table. 5) Back home, bidding us farewell. ? This was a great day all-around for everyone.

Thanks to Glenda for taking such great care of Poopie-Doo and for reaching out to FIDO for a little help. Thanks to Chelsea and the Fluffy Puppy for providing the spa day. FIDO is able to take the time to help deserving clients like Glenda and dogs like Poopie-Doo because of our supporters who help keep our organization up and running, out in the community, responding to calls for a little help from their friends.
