Success Stories

Shawn stopped by FIDO during warehouse hours recently. He was new to FIDO and in need of food and a second inside training crate for 2 new dogs he recently took in. The dogs belonged to a neighbor of Shawn’s who moved out and left them behind. He didn’t want to see them go to the shelter, so he decided to adopt them himself. Their names are Hazel and Oreo and they were all wiggles when we walked out to Shawn’s car for a visit.

We provided food, flea preventative, new collars (Hazel’s collar was old and torn and Oreo, a 7mo old pup, had outgrown hers), and a 2nd crate. Shawn wants them to be spayed so we’ll be helping with that, and we added him to our fence project list to repair his existing fence so they have a nice yard to run in. Shawn couldn’t have been any nicer or more appreciative. You could tell these dogs have a special place in his heart and he wants to keep them. We told him FIDO’s here to assist any way we can to help make that happen.
