Walk For Dreams, Family & Pet Walk

Find the leash and put on your walking shoes! Walking for Dreams is a 5K Family and Pet Walk on the downtown canal that helps local Indianapolis non-profit organizations raise funds. Walking for Dreams pulls together local organizations to share in a joint fundraiser. Join FIDO at the walk to support our mission by raising pledges and walking with your pet.
All checks turned in by the walkers should be made out to their chosen non-profit and will be given directly to the selected organizations and are 100% tax deductible. FIDO’s goal is have at least 80 walkers, each raising $100 in pledges. We’ll also have some volunteer needs that day so feel free to lend a hand the day of the event behind the scenes. Registration for the 2010 FIDO Walking for Dreams event is ready. Use the attached form to collect cash/check donations. And register online to collect credit card donations at:

If you are walking as an individual (and raising money by yourself) please register as an individual. If you are walking as apart of a group (everyone on the group is raising money together) than you can register as a team. Select Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside as the group you would like your donations to go towards. The information for t-shirt size is in the event you would like to purchase a Walking for Dreams. FIDO t-shirts are also available for $10.
